Dear KIPP Texas Families,
We know you and your child are excited to start the new school year and might be a little anxious too. That’s perfectly normal! Our teachers and staff have been working hard to ensure the first day of school on Monday, August 24 is full of joy, a chance for teachers and KIPPsters to reconnect, share stories about the summer, and have a fresh start with the new year.
Understanding this year will be a little different than others, we wanted to help prepare our KIPPsters and families for a strong start. This Family Back-to-School At A Glance guide is a quick overview and answers some of the top questions we have received from families. We are creating a longer guide for families who would like back-to-school information that is more detailed. This longer guide will live on our website and will be published in the next few days.
We look forward to welcoming your child with warmth, joy, grace, and reassurance as we launch what will be a memorable and special year. I know our KIPPsters will feel loved and cared for on Monday because our teachers and staff are ready to make them feel so special.
