New evening pick up for Grab & Go meals and other additional changes

We have some exciting changes to share! You spoke. We listened. Based on the survey results, we have added an evening meal pickup from 4-6 p.m. daily at select locations beginning on Monday, October 19. To find an evening meal pickup location near you, go to the Curbside Grab & Go page on our website.

We are also adding supper to curbside meal distribution. Beginning this month, all curbside meals will now include breakfast, lunch and supper.  Remember, you can pick up meals at any KIPP campus, you are not limited to the campus your child attends.

KIPP Texas is committed to fueling our student’s minds and bodies, to ensure they have the nutrition they need throughout the day to learn. KIPPsters that are starting in-person learning will be offered breakfast and lunch daily. Breakfast is free to all students at all schools. Lunch is free at all schools which were open last year.  New schools which opened this school year are on the meal application program for free and reduced lunch.  We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to get a great tasting and nutritional breakfast and lunch everyday for your child.

Changes/Closures

All curbside meal locations will be closed on Monday, October 12 due to the Fall holiday and Friday October 16, when schools are closed for professional development training for our teachers.

To avoid traffic issues, all curbside sites will be closing one hour early, at noon on Thursday, October 15 due to the 12 p.m. early release.

New locations

We are excited to announce the opening of two additional curbside pickup locations today! Our new Paseo campus, located at 6800 Metropolis Drive in Austin and the new Mosaic campus, located at 12751 Hillcroft Avenue in Houston are now open for meal distribution.

Whether your child is learning at home or inside a classroom, we encourage you to participate in our meal program, designed to support good nutrition, and improve health and learning.
