Each KIPP Texas region offers a competitive salary based on years of experience.

Certification Stipends

We offer additional stipends for teachers who join our organization with master’s degrees and certifications in high nXeds areas (Ex: Special Education).

Teacher Career Pathway

Persist with Purpose Bonus

We honor the commitment and amazing work that our teachers bring year after year by providing a retention bonus to teachers at various stages of their career at KIPP Texas:

  • After Years 1, 2, and 3: $1,500
  • After 6 Years: $2,500
  • After 10 Years: $5,000

Teacher Incentive Allotment

The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) is a provision in Texas House Bill 3 that gives school districts the opportunity to identify the top 30% of classroom teachers state-wide as “recognized,” “exemplary,” and “master”. Individual teachers who earn the state designation will earn thousands of additional dollars annually. KIPP Texas will be designating its first group of teachers in spring 2023.
