A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
KIPP Texas Families,
From kindergarten promotion ceremonies to 12th-grade graduation, May is such a joyful month as we celebrate all the hard work our KIPPsters have achieved throughout the school year! But before we break for summer, let’s continue to come to school every day and on time. These last three weeks of the school year are precious opportunities for our KIPPsters to come together, celebrate their accomplishments, and create lasting memories with friends and teachers.
While we will miss seeing each of you over the summer break, our KIPP Texas community remains connected. Whether through our summer family newsletter, back-to-school bashes, or simply staying in touch through social media, our bonds endure beyond the school year.
Looking ahead, mark your calendars! We are excited to announce that the next chapter of our journey together will begin on Monday, August 12, 2024, as we begin another enriching and transformative school year at KIPP Texas. For your convenience, the KIPP Texas – Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas-Fort Worth 2024-2025 board-approved academic calendar is available for viewing here. Please note that the KIPP Texas – Austin 2024-2025 academic calendar is awaiting board approval scheduled for May 15, 2024.
As we anticipate the adventures and opportunities in the upcoming year, let’s carry the spirit of unity, curiosity, and excellence that defines our KIPP Texas Team and Family.

KIPP Texas Celebrates Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month
KIPP Texas is excited to celebrate Asian Pacific Islander Desi (APIDA) American Heritage Month with this year’s theme, From Tradition to Innovation: Advancing APIDA Leaders. Join us throughout the month as we highlight the stories, cultures, and achievements of APIDA individuals and communities.
We’re also delighted to announce a new addition to our curriculum, made possible by the generous support of an external donor. Introducing the Asia Society Education Project, ‘Asia in the Classroom,’ which will now be available for all 7th and 9th grade Little KIPPsters!
Together, let’s honor and uplift the voices and experiences of all! 🌏✨
