Esta primera semana de mayo, celebramos la Semana de Apreciación del Maestro. No podríamos estar más emocionados de destacar a nuestros extraordinarios educadores de KIPP Texas, que son el núcleo de nuestra organización. No podemos agradecerles lo suficiente por el tiempo, la energía y la pasión que exudan cada día en nuestras 59 escuelas KIPP Texas.
A lo largo de Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth y San Antonio, nuestros casi 4,700 maestros defienden la equidad al tiempo que brindan una educación académicamente excelente para nuestros 32,000 KIPPsters pequeños. Con el 70% de nuestros maestros identificándose como afroamericanos, latinos o hispanos, representan los rostros de KIPPsters pequeños y, juntos, persisten con propósito.
It has been an exciting Spring semester as KIPP Texas is recognized as being among the best high schools in Texas! Four KIPP Texas high schools were ranked among the top high schools in the nation by the Jay Mathews Challenge Index High School Rankings, formerly known as America’s Most Challenging High Schools, published in The Washington Post.
