Frequently Asked Questions

How can my organization become a KIPP Texas Community Partner?

KIPP Texas develops community partnerships that will further our mission to prepare our students and families to pursue any path they choose so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. We welcome community partners from a wide range of industries and service areas!

To learn more about how your organization can partner with KIPP Texas, please visit the How to Partner with KIPP Texas page.

What are some examples of KIPP Texas Community Partners that are needed?

KIPP Texas benefits from corporate and community partners who help further our mission to prepare our students and families to pursue any path they choose so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. Together, we can ensure that our students and alumni have access to the resources, experiences, networks, and opportunities of a world-class education. Below are some examples of KIPP Texas Community Partners:

Inspire the Next Generation: Through our partners, students and alumni gain exposure to the world beyond school and are introduced to a variety of sustainable career paths. Students can participate in career readiness workshops, networking and mentorship programs, and summer internships, preparing themselves with the knowledge and skills needed for success in the competitive world.

Share your Resources: Partners can share their time, talent, resources, and opportunities to provide transformational services to our KIPP families and community. Community partnerships can include volunteer days, classroom resources, supply drives, basic needs resources, educational opportunities, financial services, beautification projects, and more! We are happy to meet with you to customize meaningful partnership opportunities.

Provide Critical Financial Support: Financial support from our corporate partners can help underwrite and support a wide variety of areas. Funding seats for new KIPPsters; sponsoring positions who support our KIPPsters along their path to college, career, and beyond, including KIPP Forward Counselors or Career and Technical Counselors; funding to support college visits, college fairs, and convocation events; providing STEM-based professional development for teachers; supporting programs to develop our talent pool as we grow current and future teachers and leaders, and much more is all made possible through financial support from our partners.

In addition to the ideas above, we are open to meeting with you to explore ways in which we can create a partnership opportunity that best matches your needs, while also making a meaningful impact on our KIPPsters. Please reach out to KIPPTexas.Cares@kipptexas.org to begin the conversation.
