Skyward Family Access
Your child’s success is a team effort, and we want to make it easier than ever for you to stay informed and engaged. The Skyward Parent Portal is your one-stop shop for a whole-child view of your KIPPster’s academic progress, attendance, class schedule, and more. It’s a powerful, easy-to-use tool designed to keep you connected to their journey at KIPP Texas.
Getting Started
If your child is new to KIPP Texas, the primary parent/guardian on file will automatically receive an email invitation to set up your Family Access account.
- When to Expect It: The invitation is typically sent 24–48 hours after your student’s information is pushed into Skyward.
- Check Your Email: The automated emails are usually sent early in the morning (around 5:00 a.m. CST).
Time-Sensitive Link & Troubleshooting: The setup link expires in 24 hours. To request a new one, go to the Skyward login page and click “Forgot your Username or Password.” Enter the email address KIPP Texas has on file, and Skyward will send a replacement link.
Adding Additional Guardians: To set up a separate Skyward Family Access account for another parent or guardian, please contact your KIPP Texas school’s front office directly.
Student Record Request
Please visit Parchment for all requests and electronic payment options.
Processing Hours & Details:
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (on normal school business days)
- Processing Time: Please allow up to 2 business days for processing.
If your request is still pending after two business days, please feel free to reach out to Maria.Vega@kipptexas.org for a status update.
Please note the information below:
- Per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and District policy, student records are only released to the student or parent/guardian of a student under 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent and a copy of the student’s state identification.
- Per Texas State Education Agency Requirements, “Official” transcripts may not be issued directly to students or parents but may be sent directly to the college or institution. Students may request and receive “Unofficial” transcripts.
- All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may prevent your record from being processed. All communication regarding your order, payment, our progress, and the delivery of the documents will be sent via email.
