KIPP Texas Together: October Family Newsletter

A Message from the ceo

KIPP employee

KIPP Texas Families,

It is hard to believe, but the first quarter of the school year is nearly behind us. Time seems to be moving fast, and I am thankful that our Big KIPPsters (staff) are making each minute of instruction count in all of our schools. I am incredibly proud of the learning happening across the state, and we couldn’t be where we are without your support at home and ensuring your child is in school every day.

I am excited for you to learn more about your Little KIPPster’s progress on November 1 during Family Conference Day at your child’s school. A strong partnership between you and your child’s school is so important as we work together to achieve the possible. Please look for details from your school as we hope to see you there.

This month is also National Principals Month, and we continue to honor the traditions and legacy of Hispanic and LatinX people during Hispanic Heritage Month. It’s been a beautiful time of year to see the celebrations on campuses and relative learning happening in classrooms.

Families, I want to extend my gratitude to you. In the coming days, I will share the rollout of the KIPP Texas 2030 Multi-Year Strategic Plan (MYP), Committed to Excellence: Every School. Every KIPPster. Every Day. I am so thankful for the input and partnership that went into its two-year development. I appreciate you being on this journey with us, and I look forward to sharing more soon.

With gratitude,

Sehba Ali
