This week, U.S. News & World Report released the rankings of the best-performing elementary and middle schools in the country. We are so proud that KIPP Texas schools received recognition: 14 of our schools were named among the best in the state! This year, more than 79,000 pre-K, elementary, and middle schools across the country were evaluated on student performance in mathematics, reading, and language arts.

- KIPP Unity Primary is the 5th-ranked charter elementary school in Houston and the 32nd in the state of Texas
- KIPP CONNECT Primary has been ranked in the top 10 charter elementary schools in Houston for the second year in a row

- KIPP Shine Preparatory is the 12th-ranked charter elementary school in Houston

The 2025 Best Elementary and Best Middle Schools rankings are based on publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education. For district-level rankings, at least two of the top-performing schools must rank in the top 75% of the overall elementary or middle school rankings to qualify for district-level recognition.
