TEXAS (April 24, 2024) – KIPP Texas Public Schools is proud to announce that eight KIPP Texas high schools have ranked as some of the best-performing schools in the country, according to the U.S. News & World Report.
This year, nearly 17,660 high schools across the country, including 1,555 in Texas, were ranked based on student performance in mathematics, reading, and language arts.
AUSTIN
- KIPP Austin Collegiate is the 7th highest-ranked charter high school and is in the top 15 high schools in Austin for the 4th year in a row!
- KIPP Austin Brave is the 12th highest-ranked charter high school in Austin.
HOUSTON
- KIPP Houston High School is the 2nd highest-ranked charter high school in the top 15 high schools in Houston and ranked within the top 100 charter schools in the nation.
- KIPP CONNECT Preparatory is the 7th highest-ranked charter high school and in the top 35 high schools in Houston.
- KIPP Generations Collegiate is the 14th highest-ranked charter high school and has been in the top 50 high schools in Houston for three consecutive years.
- KIPP Northeast College Preparatory is the 24th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Sunnyside High School is the 25th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston
SAN ANTONIO
- KIPP University Prep is the 11th highest-ranked charter high school and is in the top 20 high schools in San Antonio
