Event Information & Policies

Bag Policy & Prohibited Items

  • Clear Bag Policy: To ensure safety and fast entry, only clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags (max 12” x 6” x 12”) are permitted. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags are also acceptable.
  • Small Clutch Purses: Non-clear clutch bags (max 4.5” x 6.5”) are allowed with or without a handle.
  • Prohibited Items: * No outside food or drinks.
    • No balloons, large signs, or noise-makers (air horns, etc.) that may obstruct the view or experience of others.
    • No professional cameras or tripods.

Seating Arrangements

  • General Admission: Seating is first-come, first-served. We recommend arriving 45 minutes prior to the processional.
  • Accessibility: Designated ADA seating is available at all venues. Please alert a KIPP staff member or usher upon arrival for assistance.
  • Saving Seats: To remain fair to all families, saving large blocks of seats is not permitted.

Attendee Expectations

  • Stay for the Duration: Out of respect for every senior, we ask that all guests remain seated until the final graduate has crossed the stage and the recessional is complete.
  • Celebration Etiquette: We love the energy! We ask that you cheer loudly after each name is called, but please avoid prolonged noise that drowns out the next student’s name.
