Meet Your School Leader
Mr. Rashad Ray is an accomplished education professional with over 18 years of experience. He began his career as a classroom teacher and has since transitioned into various roles, including Training Auditor, GED Instructor, Program Coordinator, and Campus Administrator.
Mr. Ray is passionate about fostering positive relationships with parents, teachers, and community stakeholders. His commitment to academic excellence, aligned with relevance and rigor, has supported learning outcomes for all learners. He believes that “it takes a village to raise a child” and is driven to support every Little KIPPster, believing in their potential for success. His leadership values are respect, integrity, and character.
Mr. Ray is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where all learners can develop, explore, and learn from one another. He values innovative ideas and advocacy for students and believes in transformational leadership and building capacity in others. He is excited to join the KIPP Texas Team and Family at KIPP Austin Beacon Prep and looks forward to working with the entire school community.
