Michelle Bennett

Michelle Bennett has been in the field of education for 25 years. In her professional years, Ms. Bennett has taught PreK and second grade and worked at a middle school in the Houston Independent School District. Ms. Bennett did her undergraduate work at the University of St. Thomas and holds a bilingual certification for grades PK-8. In 2008, Michelle graduated from the University of Houston with a Master’s in Educational Management with Principal certification. She was a Founding Teacher and Grade-Level Chair for Pre-K4 at KIPP SHARP and moved into the role of Assistant Principal in 2010. In 2012, Ms. Bennett attended KSLP Program in Chicago and participated in the Principal Prep Program in order to prepare her to be the successor leader at KIPP SHARP. Ms. Bennett has been the principal at KIPP SHARP since 2013.
