This week, U.S. News & World Report released the rankings of the best-performing high schools in the country, and we are so proud that seven KIPP Texas schools received the recognition they deserve!
U.S. News gathered data from 25,000 public high schools in all 50 states, and ranked 18,000 schools based on six factors: college readiness, math and reading proficiency, math and reading performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rate.
The following KIPP Texas High Schools made the list:
AUSTIN
- KIPP Austin Collegiate is the 10th highest ranked high school in Austin
- KIPP Austin Brave is the 10th highest ranked charter high school in Austin
HOUSTON
- KIPP Houston High School is the 10th highest ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Generations Collegiate is the 15th highest ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Northeast College Preparatory is the 20th highest ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Sunnyside High School is the 22nd highest ranked charter high school in Houston
SAN ANTONIO
- KIPP University Prep is the 15th highest ranked high school in San Antonio
