Weather Updates for the Week of January 15

All KIPP Texas schools will be open for the remainder of the week with a normal school schedule.

MOST of our KIPP Texas-Houston schools will re-open, Wednesday, January 17, with a normal school schedule. The following three schools have impacted openings:

KIPP Northeast College Prep will remain closed on Wednesday, January 17, due to freezing pipes.
KIPP Nexus Primary School’s Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 will not have classes on, Wednesday, January 17, due to freezing pipes. The remainder of KIPP Nexus Primary School will open with a normal schedule.
Due to freezing pipes discovered this morning, KIPP Peace Elementary School’s Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 will not have classes today, Wednesday, January 17. The remainder of KIPP Peace Elementary School will open with a normal schedule.

The remainder of our KIPP Texas-Houston schools will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow. Parents, please send your KIPPsters to school with a full water bottle and warm clothing.

The safety of our Little and Big KIPPsters is of the utmost importance. Due to ongoing freezing temperatures, we will continue with a two-hour start delay for Wednesday, January 17. Hot breakfast and lunch will be served, and buses will follow the normal route and arrive at each stop two hours past their normal scheduled time. Stay warm, KIPPsters!
