A passionate advocate for literacy and leadership, she focuses on empowering teachers and improving student outcomes.

Alexis Brown

KIPP Journey Collegiate School Leader

Alexis Brown spent 11 years as an educator in Houston ISD before joining KIPP Texas and previously practiced personal injury law in Corpus Christi, TX. Inspired by her mother, an elementary teacher and middle school administrator, she developed a deep passion for education. She holds degrees in marketing, law, and education, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning.
