KIPP Public Schools Celebrates 30th Anniversary and Welcomes Students back

SAN ANTONIO – Thousands of students across San Antonio were welcomed back to KIPP Texas Public Schools on Monday.

Seven KIPP schools across the city welcomed kids in grades Pre-K through 12 at the start of the 2024-25 school year.

“We are so excited to welcome our Little KIPPsters for the 2024-25 school year,” says Sehba Ali, CEO of KIPP Texas Public Schools. “Every KIPPster who enters our schools today has incredible potential and is counting on us to make this year count in their preparation for college and beyond. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary and our 30th first day of school, we want to thank our Team and Family for their commitment to our KIPPsters. ”

KIPP Texas Public Schools was founded 30 years ago and now educates approximately 31,000 students in 54 schools across Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.
