KIPP Texas new student applications for the 2027-28 school year open on October 1 for grades Pre-K – 12! We are committed to providing a joyful, high-quality educational experience that prepares students for success in college, career, and beyond across 47 schools in Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Review the steps below to apply and stay connected with KIPP Texas:
1. Visit Our Website: Visit kipptexas.org/apply to access the application form and learn more about our schools.
2. Complete the Application: Fill out the online application form with accurate and relevant information for each of your school-aged children. Applications are accepted all year. We highly encourage applicants to apply by the lottery application deadline on January 25, 2027 for the best chance at receiving an open seat at the school of your choice.
Some quick reminders on submitting an application:
- You can only submit one application to one KIPP Texas School.
- Save your SchoolMint login information so you can log back in and see your admissions status when we hold our student lottery on February 2, 2027.
- If your child is currently enrolled at a KIPP Texas school, we ask that you do not submit a new student application. Instead, your child will be asked to complete re-enrollment in March of 2027. If you are interested in an in-year transfer, please contact your school directly and do not submit an application.
3. Schedule a School Tour: Starting in October, schedule a school tour to learn more about our schools. During this tour, you will visit classrooms and facilities, meet with school staff, learn more about the overall student and family experience, and so much more! Schedule your school tour beginning October 1!
