This week, U.S. News & World Report unveiled its highly anticipated rankings of the best-performing high schools, and we are thrilled to announce that eight KIPP Texas schools have made the list!
Drawing data from 25,000 public high schools across all 50 states, U.S. News & World Report assessed and ranked nearly 17,660 schools based on six key criteria: college readiness, math and reading proficiency, math, and reading performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rate.
We are proud to share that the following KIPP Texas High Schools have secured spots on this prestigious list:
AUSTIN
- KIPP Austin Collegiate is the 8th highest-ranked charter high school in Austin
- KIPP Austin Brave is the 14th highest-ranked charter high school in Austin
HOUSTON
- KIPP Houston High School is the 8th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston and ranked 108 in Texas high schools
- KIPP Generations Collegiate is the 17th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Northeast College Preparatory is the 24th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston
- KIPP Sunnyside High School is the 26th highest-ranked charter high school in Houston
SAN ANTONIO
- KIPP University Prep High School is the 17th highest-ranked charter high school in San Antonio
- KIPP Somos Collegiate is the 20th highest-ranked charter high school in San Antonio
