Robert hails from McAllen, Texas in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating with a degree in Psychology from Brown University, he served as a college advisor to high school students around Providence, Rhode Island. He eventually found his way back to Texas and into the classroom, most recently co-teaching seniors at KIPP Austin Collegiate. Recognizing the importance of post-secondary education, Robert jumped at the chance to join the KIPP Through College Team as an Alumni Counselor. He currently advises KIPP Texas Middle School Alumni at various high schools in the greater Austin area, ensuring all KIPP students have what they need to make it To and Through College!
