
Dr. AiMee’ Morant

Dr. AiMeé Morant is proud to serve as the school leader at KIPP Mosaic Primary. She leads through her strong belief in foundational literacy and numeracy and believes deeply that students must craft their own narrative through a rich understanding of themselves and their culture.
Before joining Mosaic, Dr. Morant served as the founding Assistant Principal and Principal in Residence at KIPP Journey Primary. She has also served as an Assistant Principal at KIPP Houston High School and Lockhart Elementary in Houston, ISD. Prior to joining school administration, AiMee served as a classroom teacher for Pre-Kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and the Gifted and Talented program. She also led grade-level teams, was an instructional coach, new teacher mentor and led several school wide initiatives including Academic Parent Training nights and Data-Driven Instructional strategies.
AiMeé is a 2008 Teach for America Corps Member, a proud graduate of Spelman College located in Atlanta, GA and earned both her Master of Education, Master of Business Administration Education and her Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership from The University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. Dr. Morant enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
