This is the Back-to-School Essentials page. Here you will find school supply lists and school uniform information.KIPP Texas Public Schools’ student dress code supports equitable educational access. It is written in a manner that does not reinforce stereotypes, and that does not reinforce or increase marginalization or oppression of any group based on race, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, cultural observance, household income, or body type/size.

SCHOOL DRESS CODE

The student dress code supports our goal of inspiring students to learn and focus on their academic excellence.
For the 2024-25 school year, students will be allowed to wear:

  • KIPP collar shirt or t-shirt issued by the student’s current school
  • Khaki, blue or black pants*
  • Skirts, or shorts that are 3 inches above the knee or longer*

*Please note that bottoms should be without holes, rips, or tears.

We’re thrilled to introduce NEW KIPP Texas school uniform polo shirts and sweatshirts for the 2024-25 school year! These new shirts will be required for our San Antonio and Dallas schools and are comfortable, low-cost, and easy to order! Check out the new styles here!

Each KIPP school in San Antonio and Dallas will wear the same KIPP Texas-branded shirts Monday through Thursday, with a school-specific spirit shirt option on Fridays, which can also be purchased on the same website. Please note that KIPP Texas uniform shirt colors are specified based on your child’s grade.
