Ashley Moorman
School Leader
"If we teach today's students as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow." - John Dewey
Ashley Moorman first joined KIPP Academy in 2007 as a science teacher. After several successful years in the classroom, she took on responsibility as a grade-level chair and events coordinator, and then proceeded to get a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Washington. Ms. Moorman returned to KIPP Academy in 2017 to serve as assistant principal and is thrilled to be taking over as school leader in the 2019-2020 school year.
