KIPP Academy West

KIPP Academy West opened in 2015, believing that we build leaders one at a time. We meet our KIPPsters where they are and support them with love on their journey of continuous learning to and through college. We believe in rigorous academics, restorative practices, community circles, and involvement in extracurricular clubs as a foundation for our KIPPsters’ success.

Offering athletics in schools is essential for fostering physical health and well-being among students, promoting an active lifestyle from an early age. Beyond fitness, sports teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for challenges. We offer football, volleyball, soccer, cross country, cheerleading, dance, and basketball.

KIPP Academy West offers a rigorous college-ready academic program to prepare KIPPsters for college and beyond. KAW believes in a balanced approach to tapping into our KIPPster’s fullest potential.

Our KIPPsters can be members of several teams and clubs, including flag football, Student Government Association, and Principal Ambassadors Program.
