Jaime Jaen
School Leader
Dear Families, Our promise is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to command their future. Our aim is to grow students to be college-ready not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. Our commitment as educators is to work to ensure our students receive every opportunity they deserve.
Jaime Jaen began his educational career in 2010 at KIPP Camino Academy in San Antonio as a special education teacher for 5th and 6th grade students. Over his teaching career, he taught history, physical education, math, and reading while focusing on building relationships and driving academic results. In 2015, he became the Assistant School Leader of Academics at KIPP Aspire Academy in a turnaround year focusing on building relationships and driving academic results through others. In 2017, Jaime took over as school leader of the same school and worked to make the whole child the focus of the school by promoting the school counselor to director of social emotional wellness and hiring a restorative justice coordinator and social worker. Jaime continues to work to lead the school in a way that teaches academics and social-emotional skills, helping each student to maximize their potential.
