
Geoffrey Roy
School Leader
Geoffrey Roy is the Founding School Leader of KIPP CONNECT High School. Prior to this role, Mr. Roy served as assistant principal at KIPP Houston High School for two years, and led the math department and the Freshman Academy. He also participated in KIPP School Leadership Programs as a Miles Family Fellow followed by a year as a Fisher Fellow in preparation for the opening of KCHS. Geoffrey began his teaching career in Las Vegas, Nevada as a 2005 Teach For America (TFA) corps member. He later joined the TFA-Houston team as a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development – a role in which he had the chance to coach many KIPP teachers. He subsequently launched the region’s STEM director role, overseeing the training and development of nearly 100 secondary math and science teachers each year. Geoffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts in history from Boston College and his Masters of Education in curriculum & instruction from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas.
