School Leader

Adam Kutac graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2007 with Child Psychology, Creative Writing, and Philosophy degrees. He graduated in 2010 with his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas as well. Before joining the KIPP team and family, Mr. Kutac served as a 3rd-grade and 4th-grade self-contained teacher in a neighboring school district. During his service in the classroom for KIPP SHARP College Prep, he taught all subjects and various grade levels. He was also a part of the school’s Leadership Team. During his last year in the classroom, Mr. Kutac was nominated for and won the Kinder Teacher of Excellence Award for his outstanding service and commitment to excellence. He then became a Dean of instruction at KIPP SHARP in 2013. For the 2014 -2015 school year, Mr. Kutac founded KIPP CONNECT Primary School as an Assistant Principal, and in July 2015, Mr. Kutac became the School Principal. This year will be Mr. Kutac’s 11th year at KIPP and his 13th year in education. As he continues empowering others to climb the mountain to and through college, he is excited about the future of his little CONNECTed Scholars.
