Adam J. Kutac
School Leader
As principal of KIPP Connect Primary School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another great year of working together to help our scholars meet and exceed their academic goals. It is our mission to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and a part of our KIPP Connect family.
Adam Kutac graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2007 with degrees in Child Psychology, Creative Writing, and Philosophy. He graduated in 2010 with his Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas as well. Prior to joining the KIPP team and family, Mr. Kutac served as a 3rd grade and 4th grade self-contained teacher in a neighboring school district. During his service in the classroom for KIPP SHARP College Prep, he taught all subjects and various grade levels. He was also a part of the school's Leadership Team. During his last year in the classroom, Mr. Kutac was nominated for, and won, the Kinder Teacher of Excellence Award for his outstanding service and commitment to excellence. He then became a Dean of instruction at KIPP SHARP in 2013. For the 2014 -2015 school year, Mr. Kutac founded KIPP CONNECT Primary school as an Assistant Principal and in July of 2015, Mr. Kutac became the School Principal. This year will be Mr. Kutac’s 11th year at KIPP and his 13th year in education. As he continues to empower others to climb the mountain to and through college, he is excited about the future of all of his little CONNECTed Scholars.
