Meet Your School Leader
Rinaldo Murray serves as School Leader at KIPP: NEXUS Middle School and brings more than 20 years of experience in education, including a decade in school leadership. He began his career as a middle school history teacher and went on to serve as a Department Chair, Curriculum Writer, AP History teacher, and Grade Level Chair.
Throughout his career, Mr. Murray has served as an Assistant Principal, Professional Development Specialist, and Middle School Principal, leading efforts to strengthen academic programs and create supportive, high-achieving environments for diverse student populations. Under his leadership, schools have earned recognition in Newsweek, local media outlets, and national education studies.
Mr. Murray holds a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Clark Atlanta University. He also completed school leadership training at the University of Maryland, College Park.
