Meet Your School Leader
Blake Rhyne is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Blake graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in School Administration. He is currently completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Concordia University.
Before coming to Paseo, Blake served as an Assistant Principal and Principal with Kansas City Public Schools. Under Blake’s leadership, his school is recognized as having Outstanding Growth in Math and Reading.
Before joining Kansas City Public Schools, Blake was an elementary school teacher, teaching grades 4th & 5th, and a Secondary English and Journalism teacher. North Carolina recognized him as a teacher for being ranked in the top 25% of state educators based on high student growth and performance levels.
Blake believes successful schools are created by loving and accepting students, supporting staff, and partnering with parents and community stakeholders. Blake enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors outside of work.
