KIPP Texas Families,
We’ll soon welcome you to our KIPP Texas Back-to-School Bashes! These events will occur across all four KIPP Texas regions in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. School Leaders and their leadership teams will be at their schools to greet their school’s families! Families can visit classrooms and speak with their new teachers. Families can also visit different stations where KTX representatives will operate. These stations will have important information to ensure your KIPPster is ready for the first school day on Monday, August 14, 2023.
Stations include:
- Paperwork & Required Documents
- Special Education and Emergent Bilinguals
- Nurse & Immunizations (A school nurse will be on-site to collect immunization records and provide information about medication drop-off)
- School-Based Mental Health
- Transportation
- Family Communication & Involvement
- Schedule Pick Up (Middle school & high school Little KIPPsters can pick up their 2023-2024 class schedule at this station)
