Meet Your School Leader
Annette DeLeon, M.Ed., serves as School Leader at KIPP Austin Collegiate High School, bringing more than 20 years of experience in K–12 education and 9 in school leadership. She holds a Master of Education in Special Populations from Concordia University Texas and specializes in instructional leadership, school transformation, and inclusive educational practices.
Grounded in the belief that “Every student, regardless of background, ability, or previous achievement, deserves access to rigorous learning, high expectations, and adults who believe in their potential,” DeLeon leads with a strong commitment to equity, student achievement, and whole-child development.
Throughout her career, she has focused on building strong school cultures, developing educators, strengthening instructional practices, and creating systems that support the success of ALL learners. Her leadership is rooted in the belief that high expectations and meaningful relationships must work together to ensure students thrive.
As School Leader, DeLeon works collaboratively with teachers, students, families, and the broader school community to create a joyful, rigorous, and inclusive learning environment. She believes schools have the power to transform opportunities for students and communities and is committed to ensuring every student develops the knowledge, confidence, and character needed to succeed in college, career, and life.
KIPP Austin Collegiate supports our students on their final climb up the mountain to college. Our academic program enables students to develop and practice intellectual habits, build academic skills, and cultivate character traits necessary to thrive in and graduate from four-year colleges and universities. At KIPP Austin Collegiate, students learn to take responsibility for positively affecting their communities and shaping their futures.
