KIPP Truth Academy

KIPP TRUTH Academy opened in 2003, and since then, we’ve grown to educate more students, embrace a more diverse student population, serve a larger population of Special Education students, and develop a strong culture team. Our team works diligently to provide our KIPPsters with a rigorous academic experience that nurtures and strengthens their character. We strive to prepare KIPPsters to be successful in high school, college, and career.

Offering athletics in schools is essential for fostering physical health and well-being among students, promoting an active lifestyle from an early age. Beyond fitness, sports teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for challenges. We offer soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track.

We offer a rigorous college-ready academic program at KIPP Truth Academy. Our students take English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math (including Algebra I), and Science and participate in intervention/acceleration courses. In addition, they are enrolled in Art, Health, PE, and Character (TRUTH), Advisory, & AVID classes.

Our KIPPsters can be members of several teams and clubs, including the Student Government Association (SGA), Art Club, Book Club, Dance/Cheer (Tiger Elite), Yearbook, Step Team, and National Junior Honor Society.
