Meet Your School Leader
A proud product of our very own North Houston community, Mr. Garcia’s educational journey began in the surrounding schools, where he developed a deep love for learning and service. After graduating from Sam Houston High School, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Houston-Downtown and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
Mr. Garcia brings a wealth of experience and a passion for student success, having started his career as a teacher at Ketelsen Elementary and later as assistant principal at Benavidez Elementary. Mr. Garcia has served as a principal and led at Port Houston Elementary, Marshall Middle School, and Northside High School. Throughout his career, Mr. Garcia has been dedicated to building strong academic programs and fostering meaningful partnerships between schools and their communities.
Driven by his vision to create a nurturing and inclusive environment, Mr. Garcia believes that every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
