KIPP Generations Collegiate

At KIPP Generations Collegiate, education equips our students to lead choice-filled lives. Our team and family are committed to providing excellent instruction in every class daily. Our school motto is: We Lift as We Climb. Our KIPPsters develop their voices through leadership opportunities, national and local organizations, self-reflection, and advocacy.

Offering athletics in schools is essential for fostering physical health and well-being among students, promoting an active lifestyle from an early age. Beyond fitness, sports teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for challenges. We offer football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, and cross-country at KGC.

KIPP Generations Collegiate is an Advanced Placement (AP) for ALL schools. We are proud that 100% of our students will take at least six AP courses before they graduate from our high school. Our students deserve an excellent education, including exposure to the most rigorous college prep curriculum. Students can earn college credits and enter college with those credits, saving thousands of dollars in tuition, by making a qualifying score on the AP exams for each course.

KIPP Generations Jaguars start with AP human geography in ninth grade to ensure students have a strong start.

KIPP Generations Collegiate has earned recognition as one of Texas’ top-performing public charter high schools by the U.S. News & World Report. In Houston’s public charter high school landscape, KGC is the 15th highest-ranked charter high school, a testament to the dedication and excellence of our school community.

KGC Jags are involved! From athletics to fine arts to over 20 clubs on campus, our students have many opportunities to engage. Some clubs offered include the National Honor Society, yearbook, and student council.
