KIPP Austin Beacon Prep is a middle school serving students in fifth through eighth grade. In our lower grades, we lay the foundation for the academic, intellectual, and character traits that our students will carry with them throughout their time at Beacon Prep and beyond. When students come to us for the first time, they may be several academic years behind their more affluent peers. With this in mind, we will work with urgency to ensure that 100% of students are on the appropriate grade-level by the time they exit Beacon Prep. We are shaping not only their academics, but also the necessary character traits and habits that they will need to be successful in high school, college, and life. We work as a community to build the necessary academic and character traits that support acts of service and leadership.

KIPP Austin Beacon Prep believes that all students, regardless of their economic background and racial identity, can achieve academic success through rigorous instruction and high behavioral expectations. We believe in the importance of building a restorative community to collaborate, problem solve, and ensure the success of all students.
