
Blake Rhyne

Blake Rhyne is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Blake graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in School Administration. He is currently completing his doctorate in Educational Leadership at Concordia University.
Before coming to Paseo, Blake served as an Assistant Principal and Principal with Kansas City Public Schools. Under Blake's leadership, his school was recognized for Outstanding Growth in Math and Reading.
Before joining Kansas City Public Schools, Blake served as an elementary school teacher, teaching grades 4th & 5th, and a Secondary English and Journalism teacher. As a teacher, North Carolina recognized him for being ranked in the top 25% of state educators based on high student growth and performance levels.
Blake believes that successful schools are created by loving and believing in students, supporting staff, and partnering with parents and community stakeholders. Outside of work, Blake enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
