Meet Your School Leader
Jessica Cerda is a proud alumna of KIPP 3D Academy and KIPP Houston High School. Ms. Cerda obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the College of Education at the University of Texas at Austin. After college, Ms. Cerda returned to KIPP as the founding 5th grade math teacher at KIPP Prime College Preparatory. Since then, she has led in and beyond the classroom as a 5th grade math teacher, and a 6th grade math teacher. Ms. Cerda drove strong results in student growth and achievement as a classroom teacher. She has built deep and long-lasting connections with students and families, and led teachers and students as a Grade Level Chair, Dean, Assistant Principal and most recently Principal In Residence at KIPP Prime College Preparatory. Ms. Cerda is committed to finding a way to make sure that KIPP Prime serves students, families, and teachers to the fullest extent. Teaching, leading, and being a part of the Southeast community have been some of the most fulfilling and joyful blessings of her life. This is the school where “all of us will learn.”
