School Leader
At KIPP Liberation, we are a team and family. We strive to keep the learning environment student-centered and encouraging. We accomplish this by maintaining strong relationships with our students, families, and community. We build rigorous, engaging lessons that grow our scholars intellectually and socially so that they may become the best version of themselves.
LaDarrion Jackson is a native of Tallulah, LA, and has spent the past 21 years living in Baton Rouge. He is a veteran educator with over a decade of leadership experience, all with inner-city schools. He enjoys spending time with family, learning new skills, and working with his hands. Mr. Jackson is a faithful Southern University Jaguar, where he received both his bachelors and master’s degrees. He relishes Fall Saturdays in Mumford Stadium for football and the Human Jukebox marching band.
Mr. J. exemplifies positive, professional leadership that makes a difference in the lives of all students and staff. He prioritizes relationships with all stakeholders by ensuring they are valued, respected, and included in the schoolwide improvement efforts. He is laser-focused on student success, as evident by the 21st Century instructional leadership that was integral in stabilizing two nationally recognized, high performing schools. He is student-centered, staff responsive and community engaged. In addition, he is an advocate for educational equity and has worked tirelessly to make certain that his students and team have the necessary resources to succeed.
