Dear KIPP Texas Families,
Happy New Year! I hope the holiday season was filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with your loved ones. As we bid farewell to the festivities, we are excitedly preparing to welcome back our Little KIPPsters on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, for a delightful new semester filled with opportunities for growth and learning.
We will continue building on all we learned in the Fall semester to challenge ourselves and continue on the path to success.
Re-enrollment time for our current Little KIPPsters is January 8-31, 2024.
Beginning next week on Monday, January 8, I want to extend a warm invitation to welcome back your beloved Little KIPPsters to the KIPP Texas Team and Family by completing re-enrollment and committing to return for the 2024-25 school year. Re-enrolling your child secures your child’s spot at KIPP for the next school year. You can preview the process here.

KIPP Texas Announces QuestBridge Scholar Matches!
Exciting news, KIPP Texas families! 🌟 Seventeen amazing Class of 2024 KIPPsters have earned full-ride scholarships to top colleges, including an Ivy League match, through the incredible QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship program. These outstanding students were chosen from 6,683 finalists nationwide, showcasing their academic excellence, financial qualifications, and character. If a Little KIPPster gains admission through the Match, they’ll receive a full four-year scholarship!

Our goal at KIPP Texas is to make every day count! 🏫 We can achieve this by making sure our Little KIPPsters don’t miss more than five school days. Regular attendance ensures your student doesn’t miss important lessons, fun activities, and the chance to build meaningful friendships. Every day in school sets the stage for their bright future—let’s make sure they don’t miss a beat!

- Help make your family’s nights and mornings a breeze by creating a consistent bedtime routine for your Little KIPPster.
- Get a head start by prepping lunch and laying out school uniforms the night before. 🥪
- Schedule doctor visits on early pick-up days or during holidays and spring break.
- Let’s stay healthy together – don’t forget those winter flu shots to keep our loved ones safe and sound!

The re-enrollment season for the 2024-2025 school year opens on Monday, January 8, 2024. Securing your child’s spot and continuing their educational journey with us is an exciting opportunity.
Don’t forget, KIPP Texas families – when completing re-enrollment for your Little KIPPsters, remember our sibling priority! We prioritize keeping siblings together to ensure a smooth and united educational journey. We encourage you to submit the application before February 26. You can do this by logging in to your existing SchoolMint account.
