Nine KIPP Texas schools named to Texas Honor Roll list

KIPP Texas Public Schools is proud to announce that nine KIPP Texas schools were named to the Educational Results Partnership (ERP) 2019-2020 Honor Roll for high achievement in student success. The ERP Honor Roll program, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes.

The Honor Roll uses public school student achievement data to identify successful schools and districts. Schools that receive the ERP Honor Roll distinction have demonstrated consistently high levels of student achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time, and a reduction in achievement gaps among student populations.

• KIPP Sharp Prep
• KIPP Sharpstown College Prep
• KIPP Shine Prep
• KIPP Unity Primary

The ERP Honor Roll is the only award given in collaboration with business leaders, and it takes graduation and dropout rate data into account. The Educational Results Partnership is a nonprofit organization that maintains the nation’s largest database on student achievement, from kindergarten through career. The organization is equity-focused and committed to removing obstacles to success for students of color and other traditionally disenfranchised groups.
