KIPP Texas Announces New Grade Levels for the 2023-24 School Year

KIPP Texas is excited to announce new grade levels will be added to several KIPP Texas schools for the 2023-24 school year.

KIPP Texas Public Schools is an open-enrollment, tuition-free public charter school network of 59 schools with 34,000 Pre-K – 12 students across Texas. We are committed to excellence, equity, and empathy in education with a focus on college and career readiness.

Of our current schools, 13 of them will add one new grade level each year until they are fully scaled.

Below are the following schools that will be adding new grade levels for the 2023-24 school year:

San Antonio

KIPP Somos Primary: Kindergarten and 1st grade

KIPP Somos Collegiate: 6th – 12th grade

Applications are currently open, and applying to KIPP Texas is easy and takes just a few minutes! If you’re interested in enrolling your student in a KIPP Texas Public School for the 2023-24 school year, please visit our apply page at www.kipptexas.org/enroll to complete a student application.

Applications are accepted all year. However, to participate in the student lottery, applications are due by February 17, 2023.

The lottery will be held on March 6, 2023, to determine which students will be offered available seats at each KIPP Texas school. We will extend offers starting March 6, and will continue to extend offers as new openings become available.
